ADAM’S STORY

Adam is an international set and costume designer for theatre, ballet, musicals and opera productions. He trained at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design and Wimbledon College of Arts.

Recently, Adam has been designing musicals across Europe, his credits include, Ghost The Musical, Fack Ju Göhte, Flashdance, Mord im Orient Express (ShowSlot) Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, School of Rock, Wonderland, Something Rotten, Shrek and Come from Away (Landestheater Linz) Frankenstein, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Die Drei Musketeer for Luisenburg Festspiele/Furth Previously Adam has worked in Ballet, with Derek Deane, Artistic Director of Shanghai Ballet designing two of his productions in Shanghai, Sleeping Beauty and La Dame aux Camelia’s which also opened in Brisbane, Australia in 2023. Further, previous productions include Richard III (Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre, Blenheim), The Dinner Engagement and Jenufa (both Cochrane Theatre, London). Adam is a regular designer at RADA, London, designing Bold Girls, The MotherF*cker in the Hat and Frankenstein. He also teaches 3rd Year BA Students in Production Arts at UAL, London. 

 

Adam has new upcoming musicals, Priscilla Queen of the Desert at Salzburg Landestheater December 2025, Wir Sind am Leben which premieres at Theater des Westens, Berlin in March 2026, Da Vinci Code in Frankfurt March 2026, Something Rotten in Bad Horsed June 2006 and a new Opera, End Game in Graz in December 2026

He is currently undertaking his PhD at Goldsmiths University exploring scenographic developments in Prokofiev’s opera The Fiery Angel and was awarded the Noëlle Mann Scholarship for his studies in this area.
